#CYFRICAEGYPT

One of the largest economies in Africa, Egypt is now pacing with numerous Government-led initiatives to digitize the country. At a time when there are over 150 technology services accessible on its ‘Digital Egypt’ Platform, the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has also listed Egypt as one of the 20 largest countries in the world to be most vulnerable to cyber-attacks.

To prepare for a robust defence, the country has allocated EGP 625 million dollars exclusively for cybersecurity projects. With the growing number of internet users, rampant development in IT infrastructure, roll out of ICT Strategy 2030 and unprecedented surge in identity theft, personal data violation, attacks on state-owned websites and many others, it’s forecasted that Egypt’s cybersecurity market will grow at a CAGR of 10.7% during 2020-26.

In an effort to encourage collaborations between the public & private sectors, all the while featuring the best-in-class cybersecurity experts, Tradepass will be hosting CyFrica in Egypt soon.

The event will attract 400+ pre-qualified cybersecurity experts including the Heads of Information Security, Risk, Compliance, Forensics and Cyber Law from the leading public and private enterprises across the country.
